Idan Maimon is a Israeli handball player. Starting in 1990, he is currently the captain of Hapoel Rishon Lezion.

Maimon is considered as one of the greatest handball player in the history of Israel. He was the first Israeli to play in the Handball-Bundesliga and with Hapoel Rishon Lezion he won 12 championships and 10 state cups^[1]
